Nonprofit Mission Statement
At Generational Blooms, our mission is to make compassionate, evidence-based mental health care accessible for working and middle-class individuals, those who often earn too much to qualify for public assistance but not enough to afford consistent out-of-pocket therapy. We aim to bridge this gap by accepting private insurance, offering flexible sliding-scale options during transition periods, and creating a therapeutic environment that values both the clientβs healing and the clinicianβs sustainability.
We believe that true healing begins when generational cycles of struggle, silence, and survival are replaced with growth, understanding, and empowerment. Through high-quality mental health care, we help individuals and families break generational patterns and bloom into emotionally healthy futures.
Focus Areas
-
Children & Adolescents (Ages 6β17)
Children donβt struggle in isolation. Their nervous systems are shaped by the environments they live in. I work with children and teens experiencing anxiety, ADHD, and behavioral challenges through a parentβchild conjoint approach, helping caregivers and children learn how to regulate together, improve communication, and build skills that actually translate to life at home and school.
-
Adults
Life transitions, stress, anxiety, and depression can leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of patterns, and develop tools that support emotional balance, self-trust, and sustainable change. We focus on practical strategies while honoring the deeper experiences that shape how you move through the world.
-
Neurodivergence (ADHD & Autism Spectrum Disorders)
Neurodivergent brains are wired for creativity, insight, and depth, not dysfunction. I provide neurodivergent-affirming therapy that helps reduce shame, burnout, and masking while supporting executive functioning, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. Together, we focus on understanding how your brain works and building systems that support you rather than trying to βfixβ you.
-
Trauma & Relational Abuse
Experiences of narcissistic or emotionally abusive relationships can distort self-worth, boundaries, and trust β both with others and yourself. Therapy offers a space to untangle these patterns, reconnect with your intuition, and heal from chronic invalidation or manipulation. This work centers on rebuilding safety, clarity, and a stronger sense of self.
-
Behavioral Health & Eating Concerns
Disordered eating and related behaviors often develop as ways to cope, not as personal failures. I work with individuals experiencing low to moderate-level eating concerns to explore the emotional and behavioral roots beneath food and body struggles. Treatment focuses on restoring balance, building self-compassion, and developing healthier coping strategies without judgment or rigidity.
